Got Hydra Again In My Tank

can someone help me on how to get rid of these guys
First time they appeared when I was cycling my tank but that was many months ago
Now I just notice some today and I didn’t see them at all this week, and I just got shrimp today too and I doubt its from the shrimp what do I do :/

Don’t pond snails and mollies go for them too ?

I never had any experience with hydra before but they look like freshwater barnacles, kinda cool if ya ask me : p that’s if they didn’t kill fry etc

If you have no snails, dose fenbendazole.
The only snail that actually eats hydra is a spixI snail, and is often difficult to find as it is illegal to transport it across state lines in he US. It is also known to eat other snails. Does appear to be compatible with mystery snails though.
And the mollies will likely eat the shrimp as well

Well they didn’t eat the shrimp they’re fine

I'm glad it worked out for you! I've just heard one too many stories about mollies and shrimp, just personally I don't like recommending them together. But if it works for you, win win, they should eat the Hydra
