Thinking about using some glue in my tank. Getting conflicting information about this glue. The foremost ingredient is ethyl cyanoacrylate. Is this safe?

I used it for my Java moss, and my fish are fine. As long as it is completely dry I think it’s ok

If you are really concerned about it, Fluval makes plant glue as well.

Safer for a tank than for hair.

I would use the gel kind though. gorilla glue makes a gel version that is absolutely safe

To spare you the details yes. As long as you dont use it with something super sensitive like caridina shrimp or something.

I agree. I use the Gorilla brand gel to attach anubias to wood and haven't had any issues.

I've been using super glue for years, either the regular gel or gorilla glue gel to attach corals to frag plugs. Works well.
