I'm looking for suggestions on a semi aggressive tank. So far I have 8 giant danios and 3 pearl danios. I'll soon be getting more pearls. What I'm mainly looking for is eother a chichlid or gourami for a centerpiece fish (or both of the tank limits allow it) and bottom feeders.

What about a red-tailed shark?
Never heard of them. Are they schooling? I don't want my fish eating each other but I don't want sissy mollies either.

They are not schooling and are considered semi-aggressive/aggressive. They get no bigger than 6".

Actually mollies are considered suitable for species only tanks and can be surprisingly aggressive. Females can get up to 5".

Eh I don't want to take the risk. My danios just took out an entire school of rainbowfish so I'm good on that thanks though

Maybe that particular pic threw you off but they look and act nothing like bettas... they are awesome fish, and would do very well with the danios. The danios will hang out up top and the shark will patrol the bottom. You could do a rainbow shark instead, if you preferred. Just DON'T get more than one shark, or one will eventually kill the other...
