Good source of calcium for snails?

My Gold Inca mystery snail has an abnormality in her shell (like a piece of the top layer chipped off). I believe calcium was low so I added part of a cuttle bone to the tank and just started alternating between algae wafers (which is what the store clerk told me was fine as her only food and why I think she got a weak shell) and blanched cucumber. Her shell seems to growing back slowly in that spot, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can add to the tank or feed her (that won't harm my betta fish) that will help keep her shell strong and healthy? My black male mystery seems to be doing well (saw some white spots start on his shell but they went away when I started with the cuttle bone and cucumber). I have a 10 gallon planted tank, sand substrate, one betta and 2 mystery snails.

If it helps I can post a picture of her shell when I get home tonight but I forgot to take a picture before I came to work.

Believe it or not, you can give snails and shrimp Tums, for extra calcium. Though they dissolve fast so u need to be careful at how many you pit in as it can affect water quality.

Instead of cucumber I would feed her zucchinI along with her wafers. ZucchinI has more calcium along with other vitamins missing from cucumber. I actually put an antacid tablet in my ramshorn snail jar at least once a month. They seem to like the peppermint flavor in the Equate Antacid tablets I give them. I know they all pile on as soon as it hits the bottom of the jar.

Thank you both, I'll definitely switch to ZucchinI and see which of the tablets seem to work best over time!!

I was curious as to what would be the best source of calcium for my mystery snails. Should I get some cuttlebone, calcium powder, or Wonder Shells. Ive been feeding veggies & wafers for now, but I can never find cuttlebone in stores. I also read you can use Tums..? Is that true? , or Reptile calcium powder as well. I just want to buy the easiest, best thing for now.
So what would you guys suggest?
Thanks

Do you want to do this because you have soft water? If so the easiest solution might be to add some crushed coral to your filter or substrate. Do you know the GH level in the tank?

Btw I have birds and I get cuttlebone for them in the supermarket. In the section where they sell bird seed.

If you want to supplement calcium in the easiest way possible, just toss in an egg shell. The snails will eat from it. If you have bare bottom tanks, you can crush it, but you don't have to. You can also add the egg shell inside the filter and it will slowly raise the calcium level in the water.

I second this. I don't have any pet stores near me where I can find any cuttlebone or wonder shells or that sorta stuff, so I just ended up making eggshell powder myself.
You could make it easily and find how to do this online, but the gist is to boil the shells, remove the membranes, and crush with rolling pin/mortar and pestle/whatever works. Add some infrequently, although they do take a while to dissolve and can be a bit annoying when doing water changes. Nevertheless, it gets the job done and it's pretty cheap too. Downside would be you'd have to dedicate time to make the powder. Or you could just throw in the eggshell without crushing it.
