Hi. In a few hours I’m going to a fish store for my new tank setup. My tank will be a 5Gal with a Betta and a Nerite snail. Does anyone have any good, hardy, pretty, useful and easy plants for my Betta and my snail? I’m no good with CO2 plants.

Anubias and Java fern don’t need very much.

Maybe even a Marimo moss ball if you like them!
Thanks! I have moss balls and I love them!

Java fern would be my number one recommendation. Even when all my other plants were dying java fern was thriving. Does not need a ton of light or special attention. Just make sure you don’t bury the roots in the substrate. It does great tied to a piece of drift wood with some thread until the roots grab hold of the wood.

Get some elodeas or green cabombas too, they just grow their roots in the substrate and grow away
