Good online plant sources

My LFS and box stores don't really carry a good variety of plants. When I set up my 20gal long (will be my first tank set up in three years ), I want to go at least moderately planted. I have a ZooMed AquaSun T5HO fixture with two 24W bulbs in it (need to replace the bulbs, as they're old...will be going with the ZooMed Ultra Sun Super Daylight bulb and the ZooMed Flora Sun Max Plant Growth bulb). Substrate will be BDBS.

So, I'll probably be ordering plants online because of the lack of stock at the LFS and box stores.

Any recommendations for good online suppliers? I used to know of a website that was based out of Tucson, AZ (I'm in northern AZ, so shipping would be a snap), but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

I order off aquabid. Cheap, mostly high quality plants, and often free shipping!

Awesome suggestions!

I see that the website BDpups recommended offers packages and I know liveaquaria does. Are packages better or is it better to buy individually?

I'm noticing quite a few sites are selling what they call "mother plants." Are these just extra large versions of that type of plant? I've noticed a lot of swords labeled that.

I ordered some from liveaquaria and had a good experience. Some people don't recommend them but I had no problems

Didn't even think to check there (not used to forum sponsors lol)! I'll definitely check them out.

For lowlight plants the packages are good.

And yes the mother plants are XL plants.
