Good News today - got a free kuhli loach

On my way home, I dropped by Petsmart to get four more neons for my tank. As the employee was getting my neons I browse through the rest of the tank and noticed one lone KuhlI loach. I asked how much the kuhlI was and he asked his boss. He netted the kuhlI and put in a bag and said it was free. His explanation was they sent the kuhlI to their store by accident and it wasn't in their system. Their location are not suppose to carry kuhlis. I got myself a free kuhli.

That is my good news for today ;-) Btw I already have a group of kuhlis in my tank 12-15 of them.

Personally, I think they should be in a school of 6+, but more the better....their personalities come out a lot when in a big school

Me too, that is why I ask....I knew that store doesn't carry KuhlI loaches because I would always travel to a different location for them. I thought it was odd for them to have just one.

 

I've bought a lonely fish on more than one occasion if I had a school already.
