I was wondering what algae wafers you guys would recommend. I have not yet put fish in my tank but I plan on having one or two cory cats, and it seems I've accidentally brought home quite a few MTS home with my plants.

For the cories I like new era catfish pellets. There soft and sink fast. As for the algae wafers I like the new ers pleco pellets. There also soft so and about the size of a pencil eraser with the metal part. I brake mine up and am the fish love em. From the rainbows to the leaf fish, the krobies and all the cories and loaches to.
I wouldn't give them algae wafers as they wouldn't get much nutrition from them. I'd go with what the others suggested above - catfish pellets, shrimp pellets, bottom feeder sinking wafers. Frozen foods are good too. My corys love bloodworms.

What size tank? You'll need min 5, preferable 6 of a species of cory cat. I usually use API foods, thus I use there algae wafer.

Kensfish.com food has proven to be a great source of food. I believe he sells shrimp pellets that are highly reviewed.
