Goldfish with swim bladder?

Hi all,
I think my ranchu goldfish has swim bladder. I noticed stringy white poo last night, and fed him a pea this morning but found more white poo with air bubbles in it. I have been feeding him floating pellets, which were advertised as sinking but don't sink even after soaking all night. I think this might be the cause. I feed him twice daily, and a pea every Sunday. I just got home and noticed that he is floating towards the top of the tank whenever he stops moving. Because he rarely stops swimming it's hard to really see, but he appears to be floating up back-end first.
I'm not sure that this is swim bladder, but I do need advice. What should I do to help him? He's in a 40 gallon breeder with one other fancy goldfish. Parameters 0/0/10.
Thanks

Try an Epsom salt dip. Pure Epsom salt, no additives. Do about a tablespoon of salt per gallon of water for about fifteen minutes in a separate container. If it doesn’t work, wait 24 hours and do another. This is how I helped my betta and a young goldfish with swim bladder once too.

Okay, thank you! I will try this!

So, I just took him out of a salt bath. I did a little less than a tablespoon of salt for each gallon and left him in for 15 minutes. I just took him out.
He started out a little black ranchu with a yellow belly, and when I took him out just now he was a lovely (very light) light brown. He is slowly fading back into black. Is this normal? He is swimming fine and I figured he would change to brown when I got him, but I was not expecting to pull him out of the bucket and have him be so light.

It’s common for fish to change color due to stress, so I would say that it’s normal.

Hi again,
So its been almost a week, and my ranchu is still having problems. I've been giving her salt baths (I figured out that she's a she), and they seem to help a little bit but the problem still remains. She floats upwards, butt-first, and it seems to be getting worse. I have not yet seen her roll all the way over or anything, but she floats up to the top of the tank if she's stopped moving and it looks like it takes more effort for her to stay at the bottom of the tank. She is also gasping at the surface of the water frequently, and I don't know why. (40 gallon breeder, 1 other goldfish, parameters 0/0/15, sponge filter and aerator). I fasted her for the past two days and I've fed her nothing but de-shelled peas today.
Please help. I want her to have the best life she can and I love her very much.

Thanks in advance
