Goldfish With Growths

Need help identifying what is going on with this fish and how to help it.

It is a very old goldfish so that might be a part of it, but it's had these growths for about 6-8 months. There were four goldfish in the tank when the fish in question started getting these growths and it has been in quarantine since. None of the other fish got any growths.

This is my husband's boss's fish, so I don't know too much more info. But his boss has kept fish for a number of years.

Hello. I can’t see so I’m going to ask questions.
What color, texture of these growths? Can you take a 3% hydrogen peroxide swab to one of the growths away from the eyes/gills? Can you give the fish a salt bath? 1/2 teaspoon dissolved aquarium salt in a gallon of water? Leave in for 30 minutes unless he seems uncomfortable.
Do the growths all look like cauliflower?

 

Could be lymphocystis?

I had a fancy goldfish that had identical growths to this which I suspect was lymphocystis.

Tried different medications etc but nothing worked to reduce the growths.
The growths didn't seem to bother him and he still lived to be about 8.

Keep up with the water changes and if the growths start to impede his vision and make it hard for him to find food, try hand feeding him.

Avoid stressing the fish, and maybe buy some immune system boosters like seachem garlic guard to help him fight off the virus (if this is lymphocystis).
