Goldfish with fin rot?

Hello everyone!
Could someone help?
I bought an Oranda Gf with a very mild fin rot,six weeks ago, thinking I could cure him,as I just fell in love.
I put him in a QT and started salt curing, did it for a week.I saw a transparent growth, waited for a week, nothing else happened(good or bad)
So,I went on with Kanaplex.
All this time, doing water changes 50% every day.One week with Kanaplex, nothing happened.I must say the fish is very active, eating, the poop is normal.
After 10 more days,I started treating with Sera Omnipur;yesterday the 7 days finished, but no change...Still the transparent edges...Anyone can advice me on what else to do,as I am really eager to put him in the main tank. The QT is only 3 Gl
Thank you in advance!

Have you considered it might be a part of his normal colouring yo have transparent edges on his fins?
If it's not then being in the larger main tank will help. Clean water is usually the best cure for fin rot.

I am not a goldfish expert, but what I see in the photos does not look like fin rot. I agree with Ghelfaire. As long as everything else looks good, put him in the main tank. How big is your main tank. Fancy goldfish like oranda need about 20 gallons of water per fish.

As a matter of curiosity, when you did 50% water changes daily, did you add more salt and medications? If not after a day or two of water changes, you would not have enough medication to be useful. With a goldfish in a 3 gallon QT, however, I can see why large, frequent water changes were needed.

Thank you for the answer!
Every time I did water changes I added more salt/ medicine.
I suspected, after a while,it might not be fin rot after all, but was scared to move him in the main tank, because of my other fish.
My main tank is not that large, mainly for space reasons; I have a 30 Gl tank with a Goldfish and an Ancistrus.I do weekly water changes and thinking to buy a bigger tank in the near future...because one can never have a big enough fish tank)
Anyway, due to your opinion I will move my Funny Face in the main tank.Thank you so much, again!
