Golden Wonder Killi/yellow Panchax Bully

I need advice on a recent purchase- I bought a pair of Golden Wonder Killis about a week ago, and I think they’re both males. I read before buying that keeping males w/out females should work okay, but the bigger one is bullying the smaller one. There hasn’t been fighting, and there’s no fin or tail damage (yet), but the smaller guy has a darkened color and hides most of the time. If the bigger one sees him, he chases him back to his hiding spot. I’m making sure the little guy gets to eat, but I’m wondering if I should return one, or try to find them some girlfriends? I have plenty of room in the tank, I’m just not sure which is a better solution, since everything I’ve read says to keep more than one killi. The bully isn’t bothering any other fish in the tank- even a few much smaller fish I had assumed would become a snack. He only harasses the smaller killi. Teach me gurus

I shalt impart mine not so great information xD. If you can, post some pictures. Also if you can, get three females to outnumber the females. I've seen that works with other species, so maybe it will work with these.

The bully is on top, they’re together in the second, and the smaller guy is the one hiding in the third picture

I only keep one golden wonder in an aquarium. The last one was a female that live 2 years I believe. Interesting that this thread started today. I just got home with golden wonder male.

IlluminatI theme starts playing ominously in the background...
Get two females, and if they still fight, I'd just return them.

Looks to me like a male and female. Last pic. Shows whiter killi. Is it just the pic is the second as yellow as the first?

At first the smaller guy was way brighter than the bigger one, but both are bright. Just since getting picked on the smaller guy is getting a much darker grayish purple coloration on his head.

E96D26B2-7C1B-48F5-B3EC-BD32E840F717.jpeg I have a pair for a year now and my female look like your last photo. The male did chase her around for a while but that was it. Never hurt her. They are nice fish but if it doesn’t end I would return for a female.
Female on left male on right.

I think the darker fish is stressed and will eventually die.

Hope I'm wrong or that you act before its too late.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Poor guy. I’m considering taking back the bully for a nicer friend

Still chasing, but the little guy is returning to his original gold color. I got a decent photo of them together. The bully is in front/on the left. Do y’all think it’s 2 males or a m/f pair?

Looks like 2 males. Just takes a little time they should work out. Good luck with them.
