Gold Rams.

My friend is planning on getting gold Rams and wants to know if he should get one or two. Any suggestions would be great.

He has a cycling (almost done) 30 gallon tank that is empty but is planning on getting 1 spotted puffer and one figure eight puffer. I don't think his stocking is right because he keeps telling me information that I know for certain to be wrong. I didn't even think puffers could go in fw

 

Neither of those are freshwater to my knowledge, there are freshwater puffers though.
They shouldn't be kept with other fish much less rams.

That's what I thought! I will tell him but I will not be surprised if he doesn't follow my advice (know one ever follows my fish advice). I hope he does though they are rather expensive. And its 30+ minutes drive to the LFS that carries them.
