I put 5 electric blue Rams in with my 5 cories I have hoped would breed. I will continue to put cooler water in the tank to encourage spawning of the cories. I just didn’t know if the wate me change would hurt the Rams as they like warmer water?
Edit: Listen to the comments below, I forgot the rams temp requirements were so high
I wouldn’t advise mixing cories and Rams. Rams should be kept in 82+ F water.
In my opinion, if you are trying to get the corydoras to breed, you should give them a tank to themselves so you can do whatever means is necessary to breed them without having other fish getting in the way. Blue rams are not particularly fond of temperature swings.
Agree no breeding attemps while the Rams are in (for sake of the Rams). I'd start doing that again when they are seperated.
Thanks guys! I’ll stop the breeding attempts until I get a separate 20G
