Gold Dust Molly Swimming At The Bottom On The Tank??

HI I'm new to the hobby . I have a 29 gallon tank and it's stocked with 2 baby angelfish, 6 mollies, 3 zebra danios, 6 corys and 2 plecos... I went to the pet store and consulted them on the fish I've added & they said that that's an okay stock... One of the molly fish has been swimming at the bottom of the tank since last night... Could it be sick?? I don't know if it's a male or female, the belly looks a little bubbled out, but I can't tell.

It appears to be female, probably pregnant.
If you post photos of all the others we can sex them for you, though once you know, it's usually pretty easy.

Also the store is wrong... That is not a good long term stock. If the angels end up being a pair, when breeding they may cause extreme fights in a tank that small.
You can maybe cut it with the cories, mollies, one of the plecos as they get older, and the danios.
But eventually depending on the type of pleco, you'll have to get another tank, or rehome it.
Do you know what kind of pleco?
If not post a photo of them as well and we can tell you.

Do you have a water test kit?
How long have you had these fish?
No one else is sick looking?
If you have a test kit we need to know your a
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate.
Everything except nitrate should be 0.

I'm going to say she is probably stressed and possibly going to give birth soon. Has she ever nipped at the other fish?
I'm honestly thinking she's in labor and will give birth tonight...

I agree the store is wrong and I would consider your tank overstocked, but I'm no stocking expert. I'd let others determine that as I usually like to keep my tanks understocked. Your angels could get quite big and could become territorial with the other mid-level swimmers you have. Especially since molly's and angel's both tend to be nippy fish. Also the Danios should be in groups of at least 6, as they are a schooling fish. What kind of Plecos do you have? Most will get too big for a 29gal, especially since you have 2 of them and other bottom dwellers. The plecos are also likely to become territorial in a tank that size.

I think your molly looks female and pregnant as well.

I don't have a test kit, I went to the pet store recently and they were sold out of them... will be getting one when they come back in stock. And I will post pictures of all the other mollies! Should I get another tank for the angels? If so, what size? They are the fish I wanted to highlight in the tank, and going to the fish stores by me I got their input as to which fish and how many of each to put in there, if I got another tank for them I'd want another highlighter fish in this one & do you have any opinions on what that should be? The Danio school is not big because I wasn't sure if I was already overstocked or not, considering the angels are going to grow along with the corys. They also sold me Serpae Tetra saying they'd be great tank mates with the angels, but they ended up biting off the top fin of one of them, so I had to separate them into another tank...
I have little test strips which I got just to last me until I get the test kit. Should I test the water and post a picture of those so you can see? I just don't want it to be sick! If she is pregnant should I go and get another separate tank for her to have the babies in tonight????

I took multiple pictures, wasn't sure what angles worked or if they were too blurry! These are all the other mollies in the tank.

Oh, and I have an Albino Bristlenose and a Clown Pleco in this tank! I haven't noticed any nipping since I took the Serpae Tetras out either.

You could put her in a smaller tank for the fry if you want, and on the upside, you've got all females so you won't have babies forever lol!
First thing that comes to mind as a center piece minus the angels is a gourami maybe, if it's temperature compatible. I don't know right now.
Or even a betta.

Is I set up that little tank tonight would it be ready in time for the fry?
The temp is at 79°F in this tank right now.

No. Cycling a tank takes a few months. You would need to take filter media from the 29 gallon assuming that tank is fully cycled and you have extra media in it.

I have a tank with Serpae Tetras in it, I am rehoming them as they are way too aggressive for my taste & was misinformed when they were sold to me.. Would I be able to use that tank? It's 20 gallons, newly cycled. I haven't checked the levels in it recently though..

Bristlenose plecos are raspers, and need driftwood in their diet. Clowns are carnivores. Neither is particularly good at eating algae, although a young BN will eat some. Some pet stores are better than others at giving you good advice. Some are more interested in money today than in money tomorrow as you have more success in the hobby. Amazon always has test kits in stock.

I just put a piece of driftwood in the tank today, I didn't know they needed it until I read another forum. I didn't know the clowns were carnivores though.
Also, the apartments I live in refuse to accept packages. I will try to find another arrangement as far as getting the kit sent though!
