Gold Dust Molly Fry

LaurelG79

I have 3 very large female Gild Dust Mollies that are about 3-4 inches and 1 male that’s a little smaller. They seem quite happy as I currently have about 40+ fry in in-tank nets.

The oldest ones are mostly gold but some are silver and black instead. I’ve had the parents since they were only about 1 1/2 inches and I don’t believe they were old enough to be breeding. They are now none stop popping out.

Im not sure how to sell the babies or if I should. I think they are as beautiful as the gold ones.

Talk to a local fish store if you have one. They may be willing to give you store credit or something. Also, if you know any local hobbyists or aquarium clubs can be a place to start as well if you are looking to get rid of some.

I had some dalmation molly fry in a grow-out tank, they were less then an inch long, and one got pregnant. As far as goldust mollies that are white, Its not a deformitty, you might still want to seporate them.
