Gold Dojo Loach Size

Hello, I have three Gold Dojo Loaches and they're all 6 inches or smaller, not by much, though. I also have two brown Dojo Loaches and they're both 7-9 inches long. I'm wondering if the size differences is because of age (I hot the Gold Dojos when they were super little) and the Golds will grow with time or if the Golds will just stay small. Do Gold Dojo Loaches stay smaller than Brown Dojo Loaches?

From what i have found reading various subjects, seems the typical max for the gold dojo loacehes is 6 inches or so

My Gold was roughly 10 inches and grew a little after I got him.

I read that too. It just seemed a little odd that they would stay so small, but I was just curious. Mine have grown pretty steadily since I got them, but I think they've plateaued a bit recently. I hope they stay close to the sizes they are now. Thanks for the help!
