Too much reading. But what I realized after reading some stuff about it, the blood in an animal stops moving when an animal dies because the heart stops beating and moving the blood around the body. It just appears that the blood was sucked out because there wasn't any big pools of blood anywhere. I'm not saying the thing(to lazy to spell) doesn't exist.

This is Lu Lu, she is a bit bigger then Harry and has the cutest upturned ears but she is a **** like most girl goats are lol.

This is my big Saanen goat Rudi, he likes to play fight as well and is the most and love attention in any form lol.
I don't just have goats either- we have sheep, 2 ponies and heaps of chickens (dunno how many exactly but we get 20 eggs a day lol)
And I'm not super duper lonely and this isn't my only forum I'm also a regular on the powertab forum for guitar and other music stuff That does make me sound even more geeky and lonely tho lol....

NO WAY !!! The goats are SOOOO CUTE !!! ;D LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM !!!

We only get goats to ready them for the butcher...

:'(

That's why I try not to eat meat. I'll eat some sometimes, but very little (it's usually some chicken or turkey, and ham occasionally).

Besides, all meat in stores in America today is loaded with antibiotics and growth hormones, and I don't have the time to look for purely natural farms that raise their animals without chemicals and where animals can roam freely and eat healthy unpolluted grass. Also, farms where animals are killed quickly and as gently as possible, with the least amount of suffering possible. Suppose I found such a farm, it would probably be very far from me, so once again - I'd have no time to drive there every few days for food.

No worries, I love them too! We had some as pets before but as we didint go to the farm often enough it wasn't possible to look after them.

Right? You do know only BILLY GOATS smell don't you? My goats don't smell because they are not billys. My goats are just as clean as a dog because they are very fussy clean animals.

I walk through a farm on the way to school, and at the right time of year can stop and see the goats and sheep (I'm totally freaked out by cows. I don't think it helped that my dad told me what they're capable of when I was 5 years old.)
It's the sweetest thing when you let a baby one chew on the end of your finger!

And yeah, they're actually very clean animals. You know pigs only roll around in mud to keep cool + clean too?

yea, it's funny that we have an expression "sweating like a pig" when pigs don't sweat and need the mud to keep cool.

Actually, I don't know about that at all. I was reffering to the smell of the meat when its cooked improperly. Google BIRRIA.

I didn't know goat meat smelt bad, but I've never had it I don't think. In Australia it's more of a greek thing on the spit.

How do you know what the meat in the restaurants really is? It could have been goat this whole time but they disguise it so well. lol I don't know if I have had goat either.

Actually, even if it is WELL prepared, it is still distinguishable in texture, even if you only notice that it is not beef.

I'll try to post some later. I'm supposed to be doing the work for my summer speed reading class right now. My mom gets upset with me every time she comes in and finds me not doing my work. I have about 4 hours of work I'm suposed to have finished today. I hate my procrastination. I just find the fish forum a quite a bit more interesting than my class.

I love pygmy goats, they're too cute.
Where I live lot of people keep goats, so it's not so weird. My daughter's boyfriend's family keeps them.
Fainting goats are pretty funny. There's quite a few people around here who keep them.
