Glued pipes together wrong way

I feel like a really stupidy stupid dumb dummy right now. I just glued the first run of the overflow under the tank to the bulkheads in the bottom of my tank and forgot to put the circular threaded piece of union to secure it to the next piece on first. I have never felt more stressed. I instantly got a hair dryer and got the glue softened and took the sections out of the bulkhead. Time to sand all of the glue and abs plastic off of the pvc I guess and glue it back together. Just wanted to make sure it’s ok to Re glue the pieces after sanding the glue off it’s pvc to abs transition cement.
Feel free to laugh at my misfortune

I think that glue is mostly solvent and it melts the pieces together. It should work again.

Definately check for leaks though.

I was gonna be generous with the glue it chemically bonds pvc to abs so I’m not too concerned but im gonna be checking for leaks definitely, I’m thanking myself for keeping the sump directly under the overflow pipes though

I was just in my head about the possibility of having to somehow saw out the bulkhead but the hair dryer trick saved me
