Glossostigma Seeding Help!

Hello all I am new to this site but the following question is what led me here. I have a 20 gallon long with a Fluval 3.0, a CO2 system and good substrate. I am very familiar with aquascaping but wanted to try something new! My tank is all set up with a few plants planted and attached to Driftwood and no fish, I would like to fill the other half with Glossostigma. The only way I saw to do this was to drain the tank and plant the seeds and wait for a bout 10 days how would that affect my other plants and is there another option that doesn’t involve draining the whole tank? What about growing it somewhere else and transporting it a few weeks later? I have included a picture of the set up still cloudy though but you should get the idea. I’m open to any suggestions or advice!

You’re better off buying glosso tissue cultures or potted. Those seeds most likely aren’t what they’re labeled. Real glosso is also a really demanding plant.

There’s many threads showing how they grow for a while then you get a massive die off from those seeds.

Thank you! You see the picture, if I were to get it potted how many pots do you think it would take to get a nice base? I plan to separate them into small chucks and fill the area the best I can.

Probably 3-4 pots to fully cover it. I would go with tissue cultures instead. You always get more out of them anyways. And IME, they adjust much easier to being submerged.

Is that a Co2 diffuser with the green tubing?

Yes I’ve got a bubble counter giving me a read of 2-3 per second and the defussior is splitting it well. Do you have a website you get you tissues from?
