Glofish Tetra Morbidly Obese Or Carrying Eggs?

One of my larger glofish currently looks significantly fatter than the other 7 I have. The belly looks almost boxy in shape. I’ve tried taking pictures, and they’re all pretty terrible showing what I’m talking about. What do these fish look like when carrying eggs? Do glofish show gravid spots? Is there any way to easily sex them? If it’s not carrying eggs, could this be a sign of a health problem? I’ve had them since January, so they aren’t new to the tank.

Fast the tank for two days, and see if it slims down. My guess is eggs though. Don't worry fish don't need to eat much, they'll forage algae and bits of stuff in the gravel if they're super hungry.

Gravid / wellfed female to me.

If she is gravid, do I need to do anything special for the health of her eggs?

Nope.

I have never had GloFish, but from the looks of it it's eggs. If you start to notice eggs or circles through the skin in the belly, it's 99% likely eggs.

If she does have eggs, doesn't that mean she's not a glo fish? Lol. I was waiting for this Jurassic park theory to work on glo fish!

At what point do I need to be concerned she may be egg bound?
