Glofish Tetra, Black Skirts, And Platy

I have a pink Glofish tetra. His (assumed) name is Pinky. I got him as a gift but don't have a school (not a huge fan of Glofish tetras). Recently, Pinky has been suddenly turning and briefly chasing Mickey, my male Platy (also a gift). The two swim about together peacefully most of the tine, like a minI school despite being separate species. I'm wondering if this is Pinky being a bit aggressive? He doesn't bother the other fish, just Mickey on occasion.
Second reason for post. Someday, my 55 will have a redo. I will be getting 8 black skirt tetras which have almost the same body shape as Mickey. Will Pinky school with these fish? Will this make his aggression any lesser if he does school with them?

The glofish tetras are skirt tetras. Same fish, different color. They will school and pinky will be much happier with them than by himself. they also come in white. Aggression should calm down or go away with a big enough school. They may squabble amongst themselves a little but it's normal.

He'll school with them, it's just a different skin pigment. Well fish don't have skin, but you know what I mean.
