Glofish bullies

New developments in my fish town.
I've had 6 glofish for about 5 months now. They're like a group of siblings. They play tag with each other daily but they also school around together.

The last 2 days though, the blue one is constantly bullied by every one of the others. They charge him or her from behind and then another will chase him. The purple glofish ,which is half the size of the blue, actually slams into his body.
They all seem healthy but the stress will probably hurt the blue. What do you suggest?

Remove the bullied one and change around your tank decorations and reintroduce him in a couple days to see if the aggression subsides. Adding some tall line of sight breaks like plants and driftwood can sometimes help as well as some floating plants to help them all feel more secure. What size tank are they in? pics?

They are in a 60 gallon. I already have a lot of driftwood, varied height plants and floating hornwort on top. You'd think they should be very happy!
I have a quarantine tank I can put the blue one in for a while. Why would they all pick on him all of a sudden? The blue one doesn't fight them.

Skirt tetras. They can be nippy.

Its possible the blue one may suddenly be unwell and are going after him because they know something you dont. It may be worth placing him in quarantine just to watch him in case he is ill.

On another note, skirts are just turds like that and can decide to chase someone all of a sudden. They sorta have a nice zen mode where no one moves then like a switch go psycho chasing each other. Usually though, its not the same target

If you have less than 6 they can be more aggressive with one another too. Itd be good to up your school size to disperse the aggression

That describes brothers and sisters pretty well. Lol.
My tank is maxed out with the 6 I have. Guess I will put blue in quarantine tank to rest a while and hope they miss him .
