I’ve had these glass catfish for years and have never had an issue with them whatsoever. But today I just noticed that one had this pinkish lump on its side. In all my years of fishkeeping I’ve never seen anything like this. Not sure if it’s an illness, a benign growth, etc.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

An ulcer. My gold barb had something like that. He would've recovered if the power hadn't gone out.

Without a biopsy, all I can offer you are possible causes to look into. Lymphocystis, epistylis, or skin neoasia.
