Gills not moving on one side? please help

sydrc

my oranda and my black moor have one side of gills that are not moving. they are also breathing fast. i noticed white spots on them bigger than ich and large looking scales that are raised. they have twitched and swam erratically at times or tried to scratch on the sand at the bottom. i also have a mystery snail that has been sitting in the corner all day and noticed some white specks on the glass of the tank. is this a parasite? how can i treat them? the ammonia is high right now, at 2.5 and i have ammo lock in the water along with stress coat.

If your ammonia is 2.5 that is your problem. You should do a water changes until the ammonia is under 1. Ammonia poisoning can and does kill fish.
