Giant snakehead captured in Maryland!

I love fish but if I leaned over the side of a boat and that thing reared up and stuck it's face in mine I'd be scarred for life. I can hardly believe that thing is only 18.42lbs, seriously the 'prehistoric monster' vibe that fish is throwing is severely distorting the connection between my eyes and brain!

 

I know! It reminds me of the coelacanth. Totally cool but totally freaky

 

OH MAN I'm not going to the potomac any time soon. I live in Baltimore which is a 20 min drive to part of the river

 

If I could catch some of those with some eelpout, mooneye, bowfins, and gar mixed in it would be quite the day.....
