I have 6 Giant Danios in my tank. 2 of them have what appears to be a white fluffy growth on their lip. It kind of looks like the texture of mold, but I can not really see that well as they move pretty fast. They are eating and swimming normally

37 Gallon planted that has been running for about 3 months
Temp 78 (80 today-it's been hot the past few days)
PH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0 (It always tests zero-don't know why)
Test kit is API

I change about 30% of the water per week

I do not have a quarantine tank yet, but will buy one if needed. Any idea what this could be-I have googled this and came up with is possibly columnaris. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello & Welcome!

Sounds like they may have mouth fungus, also known as columnaris. If you notice their mouth being eatin away, then that is mouth fungus.

As for having zero nitrAtes, it's because you have a planted aquarium (stated in your aquarium info) and they consume them.
