Ghost Shrimp Died: What Next?

I've got 2 AD frogs in a 5 gallon tank with a quality HOB filter and heater. I had 4 ghost shrimp in there and after a few weeks they all died. Frogs are doing fine.

What would be a good tank mate/mates for my frogs?

 

Whats your parameters?

When did you get them? Did you add them at the same time? Ghost shrimp are considered feeder shrimp so they're not handled well. Sometimes this can cause their death or shortened life span. But I've had ghost shrimp live for about a year before.

I'm not really sure on tank mates for AD frogs. :/

I wouldn't add anything. Two African Dwarf Frogs fully stock a 5 gallon tank. There really isn't room for anything else.

Thanks! What about a snail? Just looking for something to clean any excess algae.

 

You could have a nerite or two. They will lay white eggs all over, but in freshwater the eggs won't hatch. They're champs as cleaners.
