Ghost Shrimp And Guppies/cory Cats?

I was thinking of getting a few Ghost shrimp to help keep me 20 long clean but I've seen a few horror stories about them being aggressive.
Would they be okay with my Guppies and cory cats?
If so how many would be appropriate for a 20 long(going to expand soon but for now this is all I have)?
Also, since I virtually know nothing about ghost shrimp , any extra info on them is greatly appreciated.

Instead of ghost shrimp, I would suggest Amano's. Great algae eater, very hardy and gets along with all kinds of fish.

Not sure my lfs has those, just Ghosties but I can look again.
I just need to make sure my fish are safe and if I do end getting some ghost shrimp. I love my guppies and cories and would he heartbroken to literally see any of them getting eaten.

I have never been able to keep them alive longer than a week or two. I just bought 9 today.

I agree with the others amano is a very nice shrimp. But they are hard to come by. I waited a year for the order at our local PetCo to be filled, and only got three.

 

That's the complete opposite for me, here no one sells ghost shrimp other than a few specialised stores who sell them as feeders and cherry shrimp are also hard to come by. Amano however are sold in every lfs.
I much prefer amano to ghost as they seem to be a lot hardier.

I don't find them aggressive. They are not very hardy. Down here, they are considered "feeder shrimp". The only good thing is they are a dime a dozen.

 

I'm late to this thread but saw the questions about Amano shrimp and thought I'd note that I've ordered them from Flip Aquatics in Ohio. A little expensive, but they arrived in good shape and are doing well in my 10 gallon with guppies and corys.
