Getting around the back-to-back posts merge time

Due to the new feature that merges back-to-back posts within 8 hours, please wait until 8 hours has elapsed or someone posts after your post to prevent your posts from being merged.

Sometimes it may be the desired behavior to make back to back posts. Submitting multiple pics in the photo contests, updates in tank journals, etc.

Silly question, in my build threads if I run over the photo limit and require back to back posts, will it merge them and keep all the photos with formatting, or delete the second posts attached media?

Not sure how the system will handle that. I'm betting it will just merge them as is...

It is great that merging posts is now done automatically. I am sure all the mods appreciate this feature I'm sure it saves them a ton of time. I always tried not to post back to back but of course forgot from time to time or had to add extra info that would have been missed had I just edited my original post.
