Miles Green
Hello all,
Today my GBR had a fight injury, a scale behind his eye is... messed up, I guess.
He has 3 new tankmates, 3 gouramis, about the same size.. In a 400+ litre fully planted tank. The GBR has always been a bully. But a beautiful one, with really striking colors and long fins. He's been doing very well. Still looks lively, eats... and bullies everyone else his size.
None of the other fish look injured.
The question is, should I treat him? With what? In a quarantine tank?
I have a QT tank available, as well as medication, but I know that moving the fish always generates stress...
Medication I have handy:
1. Bactopur (Sera), for bacterial infections & fin rot.
2. eSHA 2000 for bacterial infections and many, many others)
I have enough eSHa to treat the enttire tank, but I also have catfish (cories) in there...
I have a UV light running, which I need to turn off if I medicate the big tank.
Thanks for the advice!
