    hey,

I am setting up a 55 gallon tank that will contain angelfish, rummy nose and cardinal tetras and german blue rams and i would like to add cory catfish as they would get rid of wast at the bottom of the tank but im not sure with the compatibility

    Welcome to fishlore Liam Biding!
Yes, they'd work. Make sure that the type of cory is one that can handle high temps.
High temp cories are: C. sterbai, gossei, adolfoi, aeneus, duplicareus, and oiapoqensis.

No fish ever eats "waste", just uneaten food or detritus.

Actually, mollies will, sometimes. As will scats (don't get them, they are brackish water and get big).
Ghost shrimp and mystery snails also are known to eat poop. lol

Technically... they are not "fish, the shrimp and snails" :p
