So I’m picking up a 40G and I want to do German blue rams as my centerpiece and then some tiny community fish. I have a SUNSUN 704B as my filtration. I have a few questions

How many blue rams should I get?

What are some colorful community fish that would compliment them?

I want to heavily plant, what is a good light?

Suggestions on easy to keep alive plants?

You could 2 -3 pair possibly .2 might be safest .
Most choose rummy nose ,cardinals or other fish that tolerate 82f easily .That list is short.
Regardless keep temp over 80 and add fish you like that won't mess with the rams .
They should be treated as #1 fish in the tank if you want them to do well.
