Okay, I saw a thread that mentioned keeping GBRs in a 10 gallon. Is this true? Is so I'd love to try it.

Minimum, I would do a 15 gallon for a pair with nothing else in the tank. This would be in a densly planted aquarium. A 10 is too tight in my opinion.

What about just one? Would that work? Let me get a pic of my tank...

My tank isn't planted but I have live plants in my other tank I could put in.

Yeah, even one is not advisable. Live aquaria recommend a 30-gallon tank(although you may be able to get away with smaller) and AqAdvisor says he will eventually outgrow it. Even with him being the only one in the tank, it's too small. There are many other good options for a 10 gallon though. What else would you have in mind?

I don't like keeping rams in singles. A pair is minimum. You aquarium isn't as densley planted as it needs to be either. Their are better fish species to suit you better.

I was planning on:
3 male guppies (fancy, or lyretail, haven't decided)
4 endlers (male)
I was going to start with 2 amano shrimp but may do cherries once I see how the fish interact with them.
Also, a mystery snail, and, down the line, some nerites. Anything else I should add
