Gave my Mum the 'duh duh duuuhh' Betta Bug!

Tazmiche here.........I did it, she is hooked!

I moved back in with my folks after relationship break up ...blah ...blah...yawn...etc

Started first tank , then got second, MTS had struck! Then came the third tank and my first Betta ( sadly RIP) Then first girl Betta Honey.

Ok boring story but point is I knew my mum liked them ALOT when I caught her nose ON the tank, chatting to the Guppies. With her birthday being July 29th I asked if she would you like a little tank on her desk in the study? Nah, not really she said but I pushed. ok she said.

We went to get 2 more oto's and another amano shrimp for me the other day and the tank right above the otos was empty so we thought. Then out from behind the filter popped a sweet little betta face with bright blue eyes!!
He's now in mum's study, called Flame and mum is well and truly bitten by the Betta Bug. ( I am in here study now and have been told not to keep her baby up too late!! LOL)

She knows about fishlore from me but she has signed up too so she will be saying HI as Tazmiches mum. I know you will welcome her but we need to send out the 'must have more fish' vibe!!! And more Bettas are a must!!!

Actually moms don't do things they don't want to do, so you just provided positive encouragement for her to do something she really wanted to do, and that was very kind of you.......

LOL.. once she's on here and sees all these beautiful bettas and reads about the great personalities they have, she'll be ready to get a dozen!

lol while I was at camp this summer my mom was fish-sitting my 5 Danios. I get back and they have a new hood/with a fluorescent light and shes now calling them "her" fish. ;D :
Maybe this means a new tank.....
