Fuzz On My Plants Help

    This is a cycling tank but has had no issues so far. I noticed a dark brown fuzz on my anubias and gold ribbon. I'm using root tabs and there are no fish in the tank right now. I've never encountered this problem before on my other tanks. I hope someone can tell me what this is and how to fix it. Thank you! :)Plant fuzz.jpgAquariumPlant.jpg

    To me it looks like some sort of decay, maybe brown diatom algae but it doesn't quite look like it. Also, gold ribbon plants are not actually aquatic, they can't be grown underwater. Their roots can be submerged, but any leaves that are submerged will rot. And welcome to the forum! :)
