I just finished 4th dose of Furan 2 yesterday.

Does replacing the activated carbon filters get rid of the discoloration? Or does that fade with water changes?

Or perhaps it simply dissipates on its own?

I just changed water this evening after using it. I actually did 2 back to back changes and it was gone. The carbon will take it out too but you need to do a water change

Follow the directions on the package exactly. Furan 2 is often used for resistant bacteria. If you don't use as directed, you'll weaken, but not kill the bacteria, and can cause more dangerous strains. The directions, if I recall correctly, also tell you how long the yellow will last.

To answer more basically though, yup, water changes and carbon remove the yellow. :emoji_sparkles:
