Fungus Or Healing?

My Betta has what seemed to be a small amount of fungus right behind his head. I did two treatments of fungal clear and have just been doing regular water changes (30% almost every day). He no longer has the white stringy, but the area looks a little raw. Should I continue to do fungal treatments or just keep up with regular water changes? I don’t want him to get really sick and have it get out of control.

Could you post a picture so we could tell you what it is. What you described could actually be a type of bacterial infection and not fungal.
