fry frustration

I had a swordtail that was pregnant so in the breeding bowl she went, when I saw she was going to give birth. She started having babies and I noticed oh the breeding bowl is to small, so I bought a much bigger one but when I got home I noticed of the fry had gotten out, so I checked the lid and it was on tight and no where else was a hole for them to fit through. So I put them in a bigger one and added special grass for them to hide in and then I checked for holes and that the lid was on tight and the divider between mom and baby secure. The next morning all the fry were out in the tank and the mollys got them before I could catch:'( them. Now one of my guppys are pregnant and I was wondering would the newborn fry be able to get through the holes of the breeding net??

Good morning,

Many years ago when I had guppies, platies, and other live bearers, I use something similar to the breeder trap below:
