So i have freeze dried blood worms, pellets (2 kinds) and flakes i rarely use. Id love an extra snack for my bettas in this case Brine Shrimp. I heard frozen may have germs that arent killed off on the brine shrimp but freeze dried are better. I want frozen but is it too risky?

I haven’t heard about frozen foods carrying anything harmful to fish. I’ve feed brineshrimp and bloodworms to me bettas usually once a week and I haven’t had any problems. They’re also better than freeze dried as freeze dried doesn’t need have much protein. I really don’t think it’d be much a risk unless you got it from a sketchy source.

Frozen is great! My Bettas have always gotten it. My current Betta can have SBD issues so frozen brine and bloodworms are her staple foods.
