20 Gallon Tank Frozen bloodworms and axolotl

So I have a sub-adult axolotl who mainly lives off of frozen bloodworms. Before feeding, I take a frozen cube and put it in a cup of the tank water to thaw it out. I read that was how you were supposed to do it. At first my axolotl was fine, but recently he has been throwing up half digested worms. They are good quality, and I know I am not supposed to feed him frozen foods because axolotls are tempurature sensitive. Am I doing something wrong, or is he just sick? I ordered some Indian almond leaves to try and help him, and a different brand of bloodworms to try.

How big are the cubes? Is it possible that you are feeding him too much? I’m nowhere near an axolotl expert, so someone else could help more.

They are relatively small. I try to feed him as much as he can eat in 2 minutes. I may be giving him too much, but I'm not sure. I'm just worried

I can’t really help you on this, sorry. There might be an axolotl guru? I’d have to check.
