Is it my imagination or is it true that the more affectionate the fish breed is towards human, the more mean they are to their tank mates? My three favortie fish breeds (bettas, puffers and gouramis) I'm forced to give up on because there are so aggresive towards other fish. (I still have some hope for a dwarf gourami however.) There seems to be a definite connection there.
Well my Betta isn't aggresive at all. He is one of the most peaceful Betta's I have ever seen. We seem to have a good bond to.
Hello. I'm seeing more and more posts about "Sparkling Gourami's". You can have more than 1 per tank. They hang around together too from what I've read. https://www.fishlore.com/aquariummagazine/feb09/sparkling-gourami.htm http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_sparkling.php My fish are as friendly to me as they can possibly be. It's rare that I see any aggression from them towards their tank mates (spawning time excluded). Ken
