I was wondering if I could keep a freshwater stingray in a 90 gallon pond, the pond is 48x48x12 so as you can tell the pond has a very big foot print< any ideas?

Any idea on the exact species name since they range from 18" to 3' in size?

90g is too small. Footprint is nice, but 90 gallons isn't enough dilution. They produce an insane amount of ammonia.

I have heard that teacup Ray is a name given to the young of many species that can grow large.

Would you know the scientific name? Trade names tend to blanket a few different species.

Interested in the type of stingray as well, and the outcome of your research.
