Freebee Grown Fast

Not been on forum for a while, bought a few endlers too add with my glowlights (6), 2nerite snails, in a 8.8 gallon tank. Got a free cherry shrimp that small I don't think who served me petstore, couldn't be bothered getting it back out from bag. No gravel, floating hornwart, moss ball, fake log, fluval u 1 internal, weekly water changes. Wow do they grow fast, I like very much an know they breed fairly easy in freshwater aquaria, though not through personal experience. I have worked in petstore. Pushing tank limit with fish, no more now, but a couple more shrimp yeah. Anyone breeding experience?

Not to be rude but I don’t think glolights and endlers should be kept in an 8.8 gallon tank but maybe it works for you. For the shrimp, they breed fast and perfect

Please keep your inexperience remarks to yourself then not to be rude

When I became a keen aquarium keeper + later working in the pet trade after achieving qualifications, I also became a scientists. My fish are very healthy

The endlers may eat the baby shrimp... What is your pH ect... Are you planning on breeding them?

Didn't mean so arrogant, sorry. It is a mix an match at mo I admit. Glowlights moved out from breeding kribs. Don't bother with ph, used to my fish tell me there happy. If looking under weather then yes I will check. Tap water neutral 7.0 fine for most community fish. The glowlights are more of a risk with them being characins (think spelt wrong). Experimental. Cherry shrimp in now full grown(2months), warm weather I looked up speeds up metabolism. It was tiny, in same bag as endlers on purchase.

Only want 2 more, even if don't breed I still really like them. Its happy an comes out an about just never kept b4. Used to hide behind filter when small

That's why only 2 more, I know expensive. Maybe the freebee 1 was lucky or is hard as nails, its got character. Plus tank full.

I will also get them bigger than freebee, it was only about 2 - 3 mm

I'm no show off but I'm pretty good, I usually like to try an create a small piece of nature, a fish tank is a living being. I just end up with mix/match tanks and have ended up with surprising results sometimes. All Aquarist's should realise that by learning this hobby they are becoming scientists an scientist experiment. Animal care is 1 of my greatest passion. Cheers

An yes I know the protection of animals act 1911 later amended, does not cover invertebrates, I like a bit of Buddhism as well. Nearly forgot fish. I so like pet store's that make it hard for idiots/ignorants trying to buy. I've done it personally

A couple more shrimp is basically going to do nothing for the bioload in the tank if that's the concern. I can't guarantee your fish won't eat them, especially the babies.

Mine breed best between 76-78 degrees and are very prolific. What other breeding questions did you have?

Thanks for a nice straight bit of info, I'm going too add quite a bit of java moss or more moss balls as well for a bit more cover as no gravel (easier to keep clean) . I didn't mean to bite the first lasses head off who was first to reply too my thread, I will move the glowlights on eventually more than likely an just have endlers/shrimp/nerite snails, but there all as healthy as can be, I wouldn't advise amateur/beginner fish keepers to do what I do, but there is nothing wrong with my fish/parameters/tanksize, not ideal but nothing wrong. Bio load not what worried about I never overstock my aqauriums, water quality issue maybe, smaller aquariums better with more frequent water changes. Might do every 5 days rather than 7. I couldn't believe it reached its max 1 inch (just shy), this means just short if speaking a different language ( not being sarcastic ), from 2-3 mm, within 2months with warm weather. The amano shrimp I have kept in larger aquaria, no point very rarely see them, any info relevant appreciated, I'm also a bookworm and love p.f.k.

I rate myself novice but with still a fair bit to learn also. If there is a person who has kept every aquarium species and knows all, I would very much like to meet them. This is to make sense of the start
