Found in my tank

Hi everyone! So i found clear ball looking thing in my tank yesterday while cleaning and I’m not sure what it is. I have 11 Cory cat fish, two oto cats, three tetra 3 platys and one swordtail in a 20 gallon. At first I thought maybe it was a Cory egg but I’m just not sure anymore. Anyone have any idea? Thanks so much!!

You didn’t happen to use the aqueon bacteria balls did you? That’s what it looks like to me.

I used one about two months ago. I thought that myself but they dissolve as soon as you drop them in. Maybe I should just take it out?

Mine didn’t dissolve after 3 months so I took them out and trashed them.
