Found a new app ...

I recently found a new app called Aquarimate. So far I like it pretty well. You can set reminders for water testing or cleaning and log in water test parameters. You can even set highs and lows and it will alert you if it goes out of range. You can keep track of livestock and plants ... It even keeps up with how long you've had each fish.

I especially love the reminders! I'm ADHD and forget EVERYTHING! It's nice to be reminded that it's time to test the water or do a cleaning.

Just thought I'd share! Let me know if you have any fish apps you like.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled about that either but I couldn't find a better one and after spending as much money as I did on my 2 tanks and all contents, I figured $10 for an app to keep me on track with caring for it all was not too bad.

I have that, but prefer Aquaplanner pro. Does all the same things but somehow seems to make it easier and clearer for me.

If there was a free one I will download it. I found a few free ones a while back but the layout was difficult to use

In my app store, if I look at Aquarimate, it pops up similar apps. I probably would pay the $10, if I absolutely knew that it would work for me.

Lady Monster, in your case I would definitely try out one of the free apps, because it won't hurt and you'll get a better idea of what works for you. I have just downloaded one of the higher-rated free apps for Android called Aquarium Note and I'm giving it a spin. I don't mind paying $10 *if* I know it's a good fit for me, but I'm not willing to risk the money otherwise. I totally get it!

I have aquarium note which is free but I'm not a big fan of it. I'll have to try the 2 mentioned here

Here are a few pics. I haven't used the entire app yet as I just got it a few days ago but I'm slowly getting it all updated and going. This might give a bit more in depth view of what the app can do since there isn't a free version.

You can also select the fish and move to a different tank if you end up moving them around. You can add different tanks and set tasks for each tank ...

I think I might look at the other one listed too ... do you mind posting some pics of the different stuff in the app?

Of course not. It's very much the same as Aquarimate and does pretty much the same things you have described for that one. I'm heading out so only have time for screenshots, nothing in depth, but here we go...

I could maybe update the s with descriptions later but I think they are quite self explanatory.

This also looks like a good app! And cheaper! How did I miss it?!

Also, is that a built in wine rack?!

Sure is - no great pics of it on my phone bar this one during a water change while I was having a brew watching it drain. Lol.

We use which is an Android app and is free .... my only complaint is that when you add something like livestock, it doesn't let you delete or edit it .... but for tracking parameters and such it seems pretty decent/

I use it too. You can edit / delete by pressing and holding.
There are a few funnies with navigation but in general is good (reminders are particularly useful)

I haven't figured out how to do the reminders yet. I haven't even found them. Would you instruct me? Please?

On android you to go the menu (the one that switches between aquarium, livestock, good etc.) And there is a reminders section there.
