:eek:Wow, I just finished filter maintenance on my Rena xp3 filter and found 32 Bolivian Ram fry and 27 platy fry. I had no idea that the rams had spawned. There is a hole that had been dug in the gravel just under the filter intake.

Amazingly, the 32 are live. The 27 platy fry are alive as well. I've never had bolivian ram fry until now. Any suggestions for feeding?

You can feed finely crushed flakes or hikari sells fry bites especially for new fry.

I wish you were in the US, I would get some rams from you. They are one of my favorite fish.

    Good Luck

I bought mine after you had posted a picture of Spike and I had asked you what kind of fish Spike was. At least I'm pretty sure it was you. LOL, was it?

I thought so, LOL. Too bad we weren't in the same country. If we were, I'd be asking how many you wanted. Too bad.

I love them too. They're wonderful fish.

Feed newly hatched baby brine shrimp. Great fry food for little cichlids.
