Forgot to shake tetra safe start

My tank is going through a pretty big mini cycle and I got some tetra safe start concentrated to put in but I forgot to shake it before I put it in. I put it in the filter that was turned off then after about 15 minutes I turned it back on. When I poured the bottle in it was clear at first then at the end there was a bunch of white clumps. They mostly settled to the bottom but did I just waste the bottle? Should I like stur the tank around a little or does it not matter? Thanks.

 

I’ve not shaken mine on accident many times and it still works fine. Although I’ve never let mine sit in the filter. Hopefully it still works that stuff is expensive

yeah my tanks only 20 gallons so it was like $10 thank goodness. Ive heard to let it sit in the filter since that is where lots of the bacteria is normally located. I can say in a few days if it worked/is working.

 

oh, really? I feel dumb now lol, i forgot to shake the first bottle i bought, and i assumed it wouldnt work, so i bought another bottle. Btw, why is it 10$? You can get almost 4 oz for around 5$, which is enough for a 20g. I do like this stuff though, it's worked well for me so far.

I got the super concentrated stuff. Its called tetra safe start concentrated. More bb than the safe start plus.

I see, amazon is weird sometimes though. It randomly tripled the price of the normal plus so that it costs 10$ for 1.something oz and only 4.something for 3.something oz. However, the smallest bottle used to say concentrated plus on amazon listing, and now both small bottles have images of the normal plus. I cant remember what i recieved, or what the bottle looked like, but i believe it had a yellow cap. Does the concentrated plus have a green cap?

No its all yellow but I also got mine at petco. I got the one for 20g for 10 bucks. 100ml.

Thats the weird thing, thats the bottle ive always received when i got it on amazon. However, the amazon page for it shows a different design, the normal tss plus logo. When i order it, even if it just says plus, i get the concentrated one for some reason, which is a pretty good deal IMO
