Forgot To Rinse Filter Cartridge...

So I was switching the filter cartridge thingy on my ten gal and I forgot I was supposed to rinse it first and I was wondering if it's going to kill my fish and if I should do something? also what to do need to do something? btw I just have a bunch of guppies.

 

What filter are you referring to? The carbon cartridge or the biomedia cartridge?

 

On my sons 10 gallon I never change the carbon and rinse the course pad on the same event. I like to leave the BB of one or the other on any given cleaning.

you'll be fine. Its just to remove carbon dust.

 

You can take it out and rinse now if you want
