Hello all, I recently purchased an EheI'm 2217 canister filter and WOWOW does it make a huge change! My water went from a decently clear (with a Penguin 350, and Aquaclear 50 combined) to water that looks as clear as air! Its like my fish a floating!! It is unreal. If you are thinking about getting a canister choose this one! I got it from Big Al's for only $144 too, so its a lower price than lots of like filters.

I agree on the canisters, I started out with marineland biowheel & switched to fluval 204 what a difference.

HI Cody, I just purchased a 2217 as well and I have to say that it is the best filter I've ever owned. You wouldn't even know it was running if it wasn't for the plants moving in the tank!

I know exactly what your saying Nick! It is great isn't it! It does wonders for the water! Do you have the media that came with it installed with yours or did you do a custom setup?
